Ventis asked us to come up with a name for their new hardware and software system (which helps take multi-angle photos of products, edit and composite the photos, and publish the resulting flash format interactive files to the web, where they give a better presentation of objects than traditional still photography, allowing visitors to a website to rotate around the object and zoom in on hi-res details). They wanted a one word, descriptive name, that would be pronouceable in most languages (especially Polish) without difficulty, and which didn't ape any existing products. We came up with the name ORBITVU and then proceeded to design a simple, elegant logo which also helped understand the concept behind the product.
