Homepage redesign for manfrotto.com - world-leading Italian manufacturers of camera tripods and lighting grip for professional photographers, videographers and cinematographers.
Process
Analysis, wireframing, flat Photoshop design and final HTML/CSS code for the homepage of Manfrotto.com, a site built by Italian system integrators Tria using the jahia content management system (jahia.org). Initially, the page was divided into areas for principal online tasks - finding information on new and key products; practical company news, contacts and after-sales support; company ethos and outward-facing initiatives. The resulting graphic design was then coded into html and css, initially as a tableless div structure and then, on request of the site builders, using tables [sigh].
